The Increase of Madura Cows Reproduction Performance with Double-Dose Method of Artificial Insemination

One of the potencies Madura cow genetics is its adaptation ability to tropical climate. Yet in most cases, reproduction efficiency cows has not reached optimum point. This research examines use double-dose artificial insemination compared a single-dose on cows. The study was conducted Daramista, Lenteng District, Sumenep Regency, Madura, East Java. utilized an experimental field method with purposive sampling 100 cows, body condition score 3-4, aged about 2-6 years old. treatments were divided into two groups, T0 and T1. received treatment 8th h after estrus T1 2nd estrus. Singosari National Artificial Insemination Centre produced bull frozen semen straws used this research. Before inseminating, thawed at 28°C for 30 sec. observed some variables, including; Non-Return Rate (NRR1, NRR2, NRR3), Service per Conception (S/C), (CR), quality as supporting data. researchers analyzed data descriptively through chi-square analysis. result showed that NRR1, NRR3 94, 84, 70%, while 92, 86, 82%. CR 64% 76%. double dose different times can increase performance
